The impact of generative AI is not limited to the creative sphere. Businesses across sectors are embracing its capabilities to optimize operations, enhance customer experiences, and drive growth. For instance, in the marketing realm, generative AI is enabling companies to create personalized and compelling campaigns by automatically generating engaging visuals, slogans, and copy.

Star Cricketer Cameron Green Instagram DMs Real-Time Automated Personalized Videos to Fans

Today, Mumbai Indians, one of the largest sports franchises in the world, in collaboration with generative AI startup Gan.ai, utilized Instagram Direct Messages to send real-time automated personalized videos featuring their star cricketer Cameron Green, resulting in an unprecedented connection with their supporters throughout the IPL 2023 season.

This is the first time ever that a sports team or brand has been able to have fans interact one-on-one on a personal level with their brand ambassador over social media at scale. With over 1.5 lakh fans engaged in real-time, this exercise transforms the possibilities of how brands engage with their audience over social media.

This is just the beginning of AI-powered fan and audience engagement. Sports teams and brands will continue to use our state-of-the-art generative AI technology in such innovative ways you’d think it was straight out of a sci-fi movie

Anupreet Singh, Chief Revenue Officer at Gan.ai

Anupreet Singh, Chief Revenue Officer at Gan.ai, says, “This is just the beginning of AI-powered fan and audience engagement. Sports teams and brands will continue to use our state-of-the-art generative AI technology in such innovative ways you’d think it was straight out of a sci-fi movie.”

Mumbai Indians collaborated with Gan.ai to create AI-personalized videos featuring Cameron Green. Each video was tailored to address fans by their first name on Instagram, where the fans believed that the AI-personalized copy they received from Cameron was personally recorded just for them.

Also, in an ultimate example of targeted fan engagement, anyone who commented on select Mumbai Indians Instagram posts received their personalized copy of Cameron’s video calling out their first name in their DMs.

Creating Virtual 3D Worlds with Text Prompts

Gamitronics, the company behind the popular Metaverse PartyNite, implemented generative AI in its existing metaverse platform. The new feature termed Brahamand (Sanskrit word for The Universe) aims to help users create virtual 3D worlds quickly and effectively with just text prompts.

All a user has to do is input commands such as “build a shopping mall” or “create a theater” and the AI will create a visually stunning 3D world based on their inputs and provide various options.

Creators can focus more on the creative process and less on the technical details, freeing them up to explore and experiment with new ideas

Rajat Ojha, CEO of Gamitronics

Rajat Ojha, CEO of Gamitronics said, “Brahamand is going to be the living proof that we are living in creators’ era where creators can quickly and easily generate a range of design options, evaluate them, and refine them until they find the right fit for their needs. This means that creators can focus more on the creative process and less on the technical details, freeing them up to explore and experiment with new ideas. Being an avid gamer, I can see huge potential in dynamic user generated content where fans of multiple properties can bring their favorite characters in the kind of setting they want.”

Game development company Unity posted a teaser video for Unity AI, a mysterious initiative for building an open and unique AI ecosystem that puts AI-powered game-development tools in the hands of millions of creators.

Evaluate Job Candidates

Xobin, an HR technology company is using generative AI as its candidate evaluation tool. Named AI Evaluation, the solution can automatically rate the correctness of any text based or video answer, saving time on manual evaluation and grading. Xobin can now collect video answers from the candidates in the form of Automated Interviews and transcribe them to text using AI. The text would then be evaluated by Generative AI on a scale of 10.

This can help organizations find the best talent more quickly and with less effort, leading to better business outcomes and a more competitive position in the market

Xobin CEO Guruprakash Sivabalan

“Overall, Xobin’s AI Evaluation has the potential to revolutionize the recruitment process by making it faster, more efficient, and more accurate. This can help organizations find the best talent more quickly and with less effort, leading to better business outcomes and a more competitive position in the market,” said Xobin CEO Guruprakash Sivabalan.
