JustBooks clc – The Economical and Flexible Library Service to Rent and Read Books

Library may sound like a boring place to many, but there are book lovers like me still alive in this world, who still love to hold a book in our hands and immerse ourself deep into it.

Information about the Store and the Economical Plans and Availability:

JustBooks clc, is just a little over 5 years old.

There are 3 different types of plans available: basic, regular and avid+; you can check out the details at their membership plans page.

Honestly speaking, I would suggest not to go for a high end membership just because they are cheap and provide you with options to get more books delivered to your home. You’ll just get into a tsundoku.

[pullquote align=”right”]Tsundoku is a japanese word which means buying books and not reading them; letting books pile up unread on shelves or floors or nightstands.[/pullquote]There’s a sweet thought shared by Avinash Kaushik on tsundoku – along with an illustration by a 12 year old.

Coming back to JustBooks clc, at present they have stores in 11 cities across India. They have 31 branches in Bangalore; yes, widely spread in Bangalore, 6 branches in Hyderabad and Pune, 4 branches in Mumbai, 2 in Mysore and 1 branch each in Chennai, Coimbatore, Ernakulam, Kolkata, Mangalore and Vizag.

What about the Flexibility?

You can pick up books or get them delivered from any of the stores across the country, and return them back to any store location at no extra cost; you don’t need to return them back to the specific store you picked the books from.

You can also order the books online from their website JustBooksclc.com, or give a call on their Toll Free/customer care number. You can check out the contact details at their Contact-Us page.

Ordering online provides an advantage; you can use the online rental queue tool to queue your books for pick-up or delivery. If the book you are looking for is not available in their catalog, you can place a request with them to procure it accordingly.

Conclusion:

This is not some paid review or promotion; the reason why I wrote a post on a library chain is, like me there are many who would agree it’s not suitable to just keep on buying books and piling them up. If there are any books that may have really touched you or stimulated your mind, you can go ahead and purchase them, but for usual reading, its best to rent and return.

I am quite satisfied with the service, getting books delivered to the door step at such low rates. I mainly travel across Mumbai, Pune and Bangalore, and I don’t carry any books with me. If any of my book reading is not completed in the given time, I still return the book back at the library and then order the same book again in the next city that I visit for my work.
