Many were of the opinion that top smartphone manufacturer, Apple needs to release a new software update soon. Users across the globe have been complaining that the current version of the Operating System, iOS 6.1.1 is full of bugs and power management issues.
A recent report also had details as to how to skirt the iOS 6.1 security system. Also, apparently iOS 6.1.1 is offering worse battery life than the previous versions. However, thankfully, a new update is set to be launched within a week’s time.
According to iFun, which has a history of accurate release schedule reporting, Apple will launch the update before Feb. 21. Lending to the legitimacy of the report, Apple has also promised that a fix to the security update us also on its way.
Let’s hope Apple gets things right this time.
