Rebranding: NSDC launches a bold new brand identity with Re-imagine Future

National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC), the strategic implementation and knowledge partner of the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (MSDE), unveiled its new brand identity and logo, underpinned by the distinct positioning of ‘Re-imagine Future’ that reflects its commitment to the country’s skill development mission symbolised by various shareholders, including current and prospective skill students, trainers, industry partners, state and Central government ministries and departments and academia.

As a part of its go-to market strategy, the new brand and logo will represent the differentiated initiatives and programs for skill development that enhance future ready skilled workforce hiring, adoption of futuristic skills through innovative models of skill development thus extending better livelihood opportunities for all.

Ved Mani Tiwari, CEO, NSDC, and MD, NSDC Internationalsaid, that our new identity is purpose-driven and generates from a place where we want to develop NSDC into the world’s largest Phygital Skilling Platform — providing lifelong skilling and digitally verifiable credentials to every individual. We believe Digital Micro Credentials provide convenient and affordable avenues to every individual to unleash their true potential. Digitally Verifiable credentials help employers to find trusted talent solutions for their sustainable competitive edge.

In pursuance of this vision, NSDC will be guided by its core values of ‘Impact ‘, ‘Inclusion’, ‘Innovation’, and ‘integrity ‘. Accordingly, we here resolved to NSDC Mission 2025 with following objectives to realise by 31st December 2022:

  • Impact- Lifelong Skilling through Skilling/Reskilling/Upskilling for 25 million (2.5 Crore) individuals
  • Inclusion- Access to Lifelong Skilling through Skilling/Reskilling/Upskilling for 15 million (1.5 Crore) individuals form disadvantages communities (poor women, SCs/STs, Transgenders, people with special abilities);
  • Innovation- Digitally Verifiable Micro Credentials
  • Integrity- Trust and Transparency 

With this new brand positioning, NSDC invites students, teachers, schools, universities, colleges, skill providers, assessment agencies, start-ups, employers and industry associations to join NSDC’s new vision and mission to transform the Education and Skills landscape. NSDC also invites those who believe that NSDC Mission 2025 is close to their heart; and they would like to associate with NSDC Mission 2025 in any capacity.

NSDC will be a customer-first, digitally-powered, platform-centric company with a global mindset.
