Samsung Galaxy S3 launched, priced at Rs 43,180

Korean mobile handset maker, Samsung, which hold about 46% of the smartphone market in India aims at making its hold stronger with its newly launched Samsung Galaxy S3. With the S3 they expect to capture around 60% of the smartphone market.

“According to third party data, we have over 46 per cent share in the Indian smartphone market. We are confident of increasing this to 60 per cent this year,” Samsung India Head (Mobile and IT) Ranjit Yadav told reporters here.

The Galaxy S3 is available starting today at Rs 43,180 at all leading stores across the country.
