HyLyt: Highlights Unified Information Management Through Smart Folders

Hylyt, an app that unifies information management and business collaboration on a single platform, has made searching data easier. The app unveiled its technology update through which it can optimize its search options and converge similar information based on multiple conditions on a real time basis.

The latest addition to its features allows HyLyt to conduct searches across different file formats on fourteen different search criterions. The platform offers multiple filters on information to create customized views that help towards business information supervision and decision making in real time without time lag and enable users to operate through a single click.

VideoMeet: Introduces ‘Playback’ Feature

Video conferencing app, VideoMeet, introduced a ‘playback´ feature for all its users in its free model. The playback mode allows users to watch the pre-recorded meetings. It enables the host to manage and schedule the entire playback for smooth communication. Participants are made aware that they are being recorded via audio and visual both.

The feature is accessible by the host, till his/her account remains valid. Recorded videos are directly stored on their devices. The meeting recording feature aims to find usage in education, corporate, and healthcare sectors, as playback feature can be used for creating training videos, rehashing the details of a project, or taking notes on discussions.

The host also has additional advantages like scheduling the playback slot with one click setup, accessing viewers´ list, and facilitating registration of the participants. A quick registration process enables participants to enter a meeting and also view the pre-recorded video anytime.

Newgen: Remote E-mail Access Through SMS

Newgen Software, a global provider of low code digital automation platform, has announced that the Indian patent office has granted a patent (No. 351944) for its invention entitled ´Remote E-mail Access through Short Message Service (SMS)´ for a term of 20 years, commencing from the 16th day of February 2010 in accordance with the provisions of the Patents Act, 1970.

The technology enables mobile phones (especially a feature phone) to access email remotely using an SMS or a multimedia messaging service (MMS). It paraphrases the email and converts to a format communicable as an SMS/MMS. Further, there is an intelligent message filter and processor that removes the extra information, such as advertisements, disclaimers, and images, from the email. The user can reply in the format of an SMS, which is then transmitted to the sender as an email.
