Nokia’s strong presence in its home market has helped sales of its Lumia smartphones match Android and double iPhone sales in June at Finland’s biggest wireless carrier, Elisa.
The carrier recently released sales data for June 2012, which shows that four of Elisa’s top-10 smartphones last month were Nokia Lumia devices powered by Windows Phone, WMPowerUser reports. According to the carrier, Windows Phone accounted for 33% of its smartphones sales, matching Android’s 33% and besting the iPhone’s 15% of by a wide margin.
